Aravo, founded in 2000, creates tools and products for the hyper-complex and chaotic enterprise supplier information management sector. Landkamer Partners was engaged to help move the company beyond a low-level market perception that was preventing Aravo from making inroads inside target Fortune 1000 companies. Additionally, the Aravo name and visual brand was diluted by the proliferation of product and service identities without having a master brand strategy in place.

A key advantage in Aravo’s favor: potential clients were frustrated by the painfully slow implementation processes of large enterprise software providers. The smaller Aravo offered a more nimble solution with easier enablement, but the company required a corporate brand identity transformation into that of a top-tier player in order to hit revenue growth and visibility targets.

The brand identity materials needed to support Aravo’s mission of educating perfectionist procurement professionals of Aravo’s streamlined solution. Our management interviews revealed key attributes: velocity, alignment, collaboration, smooth workflow, and continuous communication as these were unique to Aravo and these processes were fertile ground for brand image development.

The red animated “collaboration process” wordmark graphic coupled with a classic layout and typography system built the groundwork for an established player brand identity that could go head-to-head with global players in the space.
